Hotel a Prairie du Sac

“Room was clean and comfortable but a bit Spartan. Shower, AC, refrigerator, microwave worked fine. Lighting was depressingly dim and inadequate. Wi-Fi was worse than inadequate, painfully slow and kept cutting out. I stayed 3 nights but the fourth night I had a zoom meeting so I bailed and moved to a different motel down the road.”

“The parking lot was newly surfaced. The air conditioner was easy to operate. The floor of our room was not swept. The sheets in one of the beds had little stains on them which indicated bed bugs. There were large plastic tubes mounted on the outside wall between every two room entrances with a hole cut into the top that were filthy for cigarette butts.”

“Skipped the breakfast because it was mostly just breads and pastries, but other than that it was a clean, pleasant experience”

“This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had. The property was difficult to find due to a lack of adequate signage, there was a person smoking right outside the front door and yelling at her phone. This created an unprofessional and unwelcoming first impression. A loud, continuously barking dog only added to the negative atmosphere. Although the innkeeper was polite, ongoing problems with the reservation system reflected poorly on the property’s management and organization....

“The tv didn’t work in our room and the phone also didnt work to call the front desk to ask about the tv. There was not any soap in the body wash container in the shower, at least there was one bar soap to use.”

“Cheap, no-frills--if you're looking for a place to stay and aren't picky it works. My room was reasonably clean, A/C worked well but had a loud throb. They ran my card, but then wrote the whole number & the security code on the receipt. Person at desk claims it is confidential and no-one is allowed behind the desk. When I dropped off the key on the way out in the morning a pile of people's receipts with cc #'s were sitting there on the unattended desk if anyone wanted to grab them. This...
